Brought my 1999 s10 in for a transmission rebuild. Anytime I asked for a update john was always there. Builders are great got done super quick great price. They put an aftermaket external transmission cooler in and it looks and works great. They replaced the transfer case and now the 4WD works better than ever. Took about a week to get back and ive never been happier with my truck

Had my transmission rebuilt in my Chevy truck, got it back sooner than I expected and communication was great. John the manager was great and let me know before they rebuilt it what was wrong with it and what steps they would do to rebuild it. Great service.

This was the worst mistake of my life! Coming to this shop in July of 2024 for a second opinion on my transmission was my first mistake. They get you with the free diagnostics and reassure you that they can fix your problem. $5200 and a brand new transmission later, and I barely made it a year before having to come back for the same problem in June of 2025! And they kept my car for 2 fricken months!!! Never once did they call to provide updates, I had to call them!! And in 2026, THE SAME ISSUE THEY CLAIMED TO BE A MANUFACTURER PROBLEM HAS RETURNED!! Still under a 2 yr warranty but this is the THIRD TRANSMISSION!!! Took it to another shop to confirm if Brownies ever actually did install the $5200 transmission in the 1st place and their professional opinion was that only the outter-shell casing was new!! These ppl are scammers and if I knew any better in 2024 I would have never come to this establishment. They are located directly across from the police department intentionally. Please don't come here, and be trapped in an endless cycle of gaslighting and exploitation. They have no problem lying to your face.
